Description
The primary premise of Segmentor is to create new layers within the header section of a page or post and then animate those layers using a combination of javascript and CSS. The source of those layers is the background image attached to the module. Therefore, the focus is that image. However, the textual content added can be lengthy, if desired.
The effects seen in the demos are the result of the creation of a utility javascript snippet by codrops.com that manages the settings/options used by the anime.js library by Julian Garnier. The snippet was further modified to work and coincide with jQuery.
Depending on interest, future enhancements could entail creating different shapes, using different sources for the background and even more complex animations.
